What is the Certified Installer Evaluation?
The Certified Installer Evaluation is designed for professionals who already have experience installing architectural films, whether through previous Bodaq training or hands-on practice with similar products, and are ready to get officially certified.
This evaluation allows you to demonstrate your installation skills in a supervised, real-world test environment. No lectures, no walkthroughs, just your ability, tools, and technique on display.
Cost: $500 per participant
Who Should Attend?
Installers who have completed Basic or Full Training in the past
Experienced contractors confident in their ability to install Bodaq correctly
Professionals who’ve worked with architectural vinyl (Bodaq or other brands)
What to Expect
This is not a training course, it’s a performance-based evaluation. During the day, you’ll be asked to:
🟠 Prepare surfaces
🟠 Apply film on a variety of shapes and materials
🟠 Show proper technique in trimming, finishing, and quality control
🟠 Complete the full installation within a time limit
You’ll be assessed by a certified Bodaq trainer. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive your official Certified Bodaq Installer certificate, confirming that you’ve met the required training and examination standards. This certification also qualifies your projects for the 5-year Bodaq product warranty and makes you eligible for local project referrals through our installer network.

What You’ll Receive from Us:
25 feet of Bodaq film, a shaker door & MDF panel, digital installation manual and access to step-by-step tutorial videos
What You Need to Have:
Tools: squeegee, heat gun, knife, primer, etc. & Surfaces: drywall, round table or countertop with inside L-corner
1. BE SURE YOU’RE READY
Review the “Certification Tasks” document. If you’re unsure about your current skill level, contact us, we’ll help you plan the right training.
2. CHECK YOUR SETUP
Make sure you have all the tools and surfaces listed in the requirements. Need help sourcing something? Just let us know!
3. PICK YOUR DATE
Choose a day you’re ready to take the test and let us know in advance so we can prepare.
4. SEND QUESTIONNAIRE
Download, complete, and email the form to: info@bodaq.com (Subject: Questionnaire – YOUR COMPANY NAME)
5. SECURE YOUR ASSESSMENT
Once we receive the questionnaire, we will send an invoice to your email. The cost is $500, which covers: Bodaq film, a shaker door & MDF panel, shipping and time for supervision & assessment
6. RECORD YOUR WORK
Take photos and short videos of each task: Before & after of each surface (wide + close-up) & 1–2 min video clips showing prep, air removal, stretching, seams, etc.
Upload all files to the Google Drive link provided.
7. MAIL YOUR SAMPLES

8. WAIT FOR REVIEW
Our team will assess your work and reach out with results. If needed, we’ll guide you on any improvements required.
9. GET OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED
Once approved, you’ll receive your Bodaq Certified Installer Certificate, which includes a 5-year product warranty for your clients and eligibility for project referrals.
